Steps to reproduce:

* set caret to text
* press Ctrl+L
* enter "aaaaaa"
* press Enter
* press Ctrl+S

The second bullet gets removed. I think this behavior changed at some point. It is not desired.

I confirm, thanks Thomas!
This is connected with the "editor.trimlines" setting.
The algorithm needs to be updated not to trim whole lines.
We'll fix this in the next update.
