Situation:

1. I have a note with an attachement (Word document).
2. I open the attachment from the note.
3. I select a portion of the text in the attachment and press Ctrl + C
4. I go to the note editor and press Ctrl + V.
5. I get an error message (see figure), thrown out of Cintanotes and program closes.
6. Notice that the attachement is still open although Cintanotes is closed!

Hi awm,
Thanks for the report!

Sorry to hear about the problem. I tried to reproduce the error but couldn't.
Is it reproducible on your side? Does it depend on which text you select and copy?
Thanks!

Hi Alex,

It is easy to reproduce and I did.
Took an other laptop,
opened CN
started a new note,
added an other attachment but again a word doc,
opened the attachment out of the note,
Selected a portion of the text,
CTRL + C,
CTRL + V in the note itself (editor)
and boom error message and cintanotes closes, attachement is still open.

I tested with excel files attached, same problem.
I tested with notepad files (txt): NO PROBLEM, pasting in note works and CN doesn't close!

Some context information:
First post: WIN7 laptop
This post: WIN10 laptop
CN version 3.0

Does it depend on the document? On selected text?
