Synchronization not completed, please retry later

Hello, I am noticing that the Simplenotes synchronization is not completing properly for a week now.

I'm not sure what is wrong. I checked and the largest size of any of my notes is 10KB. I also tried using proxy Use system proxy settings or inputting the proxy info manually. With either setting, the process looks to have started okay, but I get the "Synchronization not completed, please retry later" message.

(I tried uploading, but attachment feature kept on complaining about invalid file extension.)

Please advise as to what may be the issue with my case. Thanks!

Edit: Sorry, I didn't include the following info:
OS: Windows 7 SP 1
CintaNotes version: 3.1.4

The synchronization process starts when I first launch CintaNotes or when I press the Synchronize Now button at the bottom of the window.

Thanks for the report and for the log, and I'm sorry for the delayed reply.

We'll review the log now and will get back when we have more info.
A quick question: Can it be that the sync started failing after you attached files to a synced note?

Hi Alex,

Is there a quick way to check if I have any notes with attached files? I don't normally attach files to my notes, but it is possible I may have done so inadvertently.

I tried checking all my notes by sorting by size and do not readily see anything attached.

There is no direct way, but exists a simple workaround: limit search to attachments and search for dot (".")

Okay, I've just tried that and no notes were found with attachments.

Please see attached zip file for latest log file.

After launching the beta version, the synchronization failed. I pressed the Synchronize Now button once to try again and it failed again.

The log tells us that your proxy server returns an "Access denied" error.
Did you configure credentials in Options/System/Proxy settings?
If you're using "system" proxy settings, please try specifying them explicitly.
