Hi,
after having created a rule and clicking OK the rule is not executed but there is the following entry on the top right of the rule:
Paused: PRO license required.
Kind regards

Re: Using Rules with LifetimePRO licence
Hi yogi,
Thanks for the report!
It seems that the problem is with the notebook disconnect after a timeout - after disconnect the information that rules should be enabled is lost.
I'll issue a fix later today.
Workaround: turn off notebook disconnect by setting "notebook.disconnect.enabled" to 0 in cintanotes.settings.

Please re-download from http://cintanotes.com/download and let me know if the problem is fixed for you, thanks!

The server might have cached the previos version of the file.. I've reset all caches. Could you please try again? Thanks!
Please also check the system propertes of cintanotes.exe (right click on cintanotes.exe, Properties, Details) - the full version number should be 3.2.0.6

Re: Using Rules with LifetimePRO licence
Hallo Alex,
after reinstalling CN it did not work. Actually my CN even lost its Lifetime Pro status. I was able to register again.
The installed version is actually 3.2.0.6.
Rules still dont work. I still have to try your other suggestion.
Kind regards
Yogi

Hi Alex,
Workaround: turn off notebook disconnect by setting "notebook.disconnect.enabled" to 0 in cintanotes.settings. seems to work now.
Does this setting have any other sideeffects?

Hi Yogi, and sorry for delayed reply.
The only side effect of setting notebook.disconnect to 0 is that Dropbox sync will fail while CintaNotes is running.
If you don't use Dropbox sync, then you're ok.

Hi Alex,
no problem, I dont use Dropbox. I directed the backup to a special folder which is syncronised by my Synology NAS automatically. This works very well.
