ALT-F does not display File menu

ALT-F does not display File menu

ALT-F does not always display the "File" menu. Instead, a symbol is inserted into the search field.

Are you using left or right Alt? I can only repeat the problem when using right Alt.

Left ALT. Sometimes it works; sometimes it does not.
