I have a CN database with around 200 records
I normally hold it on a USB Stick
When I move records (ALT and up/down arrow) it is jerky and slow.
When I copy the database to a hard disc and do the same operation is it smooth and quick.
Is that what you would expect?
I’m running 1.1 Preview 1 in Win XP and Win 7

what is the value of sqlite.pragma.synchronous in your cintanotes.settings?

heres the lot

sqlite.pragma.cache_size = 16000
sqlite.pragma.encoding = UTF-8
sqlite.pragma.page_size = 16000
sqlite.pragma.synchronous = OFF
sqlite.pragma.temp_store = MEMORY

Well your params seem ok.
I guess I'll need to profile CN on a slow USB stick to see where the bottleneck is.

Better, I think - workable - but not perfect
When I hold down ALT and
- tap the up/down arrow - I see the item moving
- hold the up/down arrow down - I see the RH slider moving, but the item remains in its original position until it hits the top or bottom and the appear there
Its not a big usability deal for me, but it feels wrong.
And I confirm Im on the new version - help/about reports 1.2P2
