Editor window is not foreground after clipping when silent clipping enabled

Note editor window, which should pop up after clipping when the "Open in Editor" option is set, doesn't come into foreground and remains on the taskbar. Silent clipping should be enabled to see this, otherwise both the main window and the editor window pop up.
Received this bug report on another (Russian) forum.
Applies to 1.2P1+.
Doesn't apply to officially released versions of CN, hence not registering on the roadmap.
