is it possible to add an option switch for sorting archives by descending/ascending date?

It has already been added to the Roadmap as feature #72. You might want to add a poll to your request to speedup implementation... :)

I'd like to talk how to sort exported *.xml file (If you need in it):

1. Open *.xml file in 'StylusStudio'
2. see table-view
3. 'Sort by as...' (by your favorite field).
4. Save

File was saved in UTF-8

5. Open file in Notepad++ or Akelpad
6. Save as UTF-16LE (f.ex. copy-paste blocks)
