[Clipping] Option to auto open the new clip when clipping with hot keys.

Auto Open the newly created note when clipping with hot keys.

I would like the option to have my new clipping auto open when I'm not using silent clipping. I think it would work best if it mimiced the behavior of a new note as opposed to me having to double click on the note in Untagged to tag it. I am only going to save a double click and the click in the tag field, but I think the interface would be smoother. Focus should default to the tag field. Then I hotkey the clip, and type the tag, then hit enter. Smooth.

BTW: This is a beautiful piece of software!!
I love this voting system for the new features.

Hello and thanks for your suggestion!

I totally support it and think it should be placed on the roadmap. But to be sure please create a poll in this topic like all the other "suggestion" polls.

Actually tagging notes one-by-one is not how I indended the workflow - it is inefficient. Instead, you clip the notes as you go, and then after your working session you go to the "untagged" section and tag the notes via multiple-selecting them and pressing F4.

I can see this would soemtimes be useful and at other times a nuisance.
If implemented, can it be a configurable option?

Whether it will be an option is not an option! (pun intended;) It will be a option just like silent clipping is.
