BETA M4 - Thank you

Postby lameduck » Fri Jan 09, 2009 5:05 am

Thank you for an excellent application. I find it very useful for keeping track of my writing.

I was wondering whether there are any plans to add right-click copy/past function when creating/editing notes? This is something I miss for the moment.

Also, I would think an open *.dat file might be a very useful feature should a user wish to use a separate db to categorize their storage needs i.e. one dat file for category one, another for two and so on.

Another feature that would be helpful is recognition of http:// links within the body of the note text.

Otherwise, keep up the good work. :D

Hello and thanks for trying out the program and for the suggestions!

I was wondering whether there are any plans to add right-click copy/past function when creating/editing notes?

Do you mean the standard edit-box Cut/Copy/Paste context menu? Yes, it is planned for the BetaM6 version.

I would think an open *.dat file might be a very useful feature should a user wish to use a separate db to categorize their storage needs i.e. one dat file for category one, another for two and so on.

Note categories which look like tabs are on our roadmap. But maybe we'll implement switching between multiple .dat files as well.

Yes, this is definitely a nice feature, is already on the roadmap )
