[Ann] CintaNotes 3.1.2 Final

Postby CintaNotes Developer » Mon Feb 15, 2016 10:43 am

Finally - the final 3.1.2 version! :)
Huge thanks to all who took the time to try the beta version and helped iron out the rough spots!

Feb 15, 2016 - Version 3.1.2

In this version:

Enhancements:
  • Focus top note during the search
  • Simplenote sync: don't run sync on startup if last sync was recent enough
  • Editor: improve Esc key handling Esc now cancels by default. Old behavior still available via the new "Options/Editor/Auto Save Changes on Esc" option

Fixes:
  • Export and Print: Field lists need to hide the "&" sign
  • Editor: wrong double-click word selection behavior
  • Incorrect error message when trying to open a corrupted notebook
  • Controls were being cut off at 120 DPI
  • Error when creating a notebook while an attachment is opened for editing
  • Possible PasswordEnterCancelledException on OS restart
  • Duplicate parent tag can be created when creating child tag directly from editor
  • Search in attachments for "-." was not working
  • Export, Print: increased height of field lists to eliminate need to scroll

Download:
Installable: CintaNotes_3_1_2_Setup.exe
Portable: CintaNotes_3_1_2.zip

Nice :) Does anyone else see a script error on the CN help page now however? Exact text (latest Firefox):

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: http://cintanotes.com/wpsite/w…intanotes/js/Hyphenator.min.js:1083

I visit the help page directly after each new CN stable is released, first time I've seen this.

Can't confirm ... For me works fine here. I have tested right now. FF 44.0.2 x64 EME-free

Hi Alex,

thanks for the latest update. The changes for "scroll to top" are extremely useful to me. Partially it even frees me of Ctrl+F usage.

Minor issue to the Print&Export dialog: in german "Anmerkung:" the colon needs to be removed.

Can we have a small postcard picture of Krasnoyarsk on the Yensei with every release?
We should know more about this centre for innovative software.

Hm, can't confirm either.. Does it still appear for you? Maybe some of FF's plugins is interfering? Have you tried using FF's safe mode?

The view is of the north bank of the Yensei River (3,438 km (2,136 mi) long) looking west to the Communal Bridge.
In the foreground is the Krasnoyarsk River Station (1948-1952) which was sold to furniture makers in 2011.
Google Maps Streetview has varying pictures from 2012 to 2017
Krasnoyarsk is a city of one million people in central Siberia. It has a lot of academic institutions.
The Yensei river rises in Mongolia and Lake Baikal and flows to the Arctic Ocean.

This morning Krasnoyarsk is at -10C, but here in Chicago we have -28C. Oh, to be in Siberia in the winter where it's nice and warm. :D

Indeed :) -10 for this time of year is quite warm. Although generally we have low humidity and this makes low temperatures much more bearable.
