How did I activate highlighting?

I have CN 3.13 with Win 10 Pro

I had typed a few lines in a note. I change to a new line, and started typing. From the start of the line, the text is now highlighted in yellow. Each new character is highlighted.

Can someone please tell me how I activated highlighting?

I looked in the list of keyboard shortcuts here:

The only mention of "highlight" is for F3 and Shift+F3

"Yellow" is mentioned in Advanced Configuration for editor.colors.highlight

Ctrl+H is for highlight, it is listed in the "Note Editor – While Editing Note Text" section.
