Search of the DB directory and all of its subfolders

Postby Amerifax » Sat Mar 28, 2020 9:09 pm

File (File Tab - Option to execute as following):

1. As it currently preforms, list of many *.db's.
2. New Function of the File Tab.
a. Control of sort order, alpha. (Standard List)
b. The ability to control what is on the list (My Default List).
• Select the order of db's by Manual Movement. Control the order of the list.

3. I have saved all of my db files as shown below. So a search of the DB directory and all of its subfolders would be great. Search by Filename, Title or content would be fantastic.
DB\Software
DB\Software\retired
DB\Hardware
DB\Hardware\retired
DB\Development
DB\H2
DB\H2\permit
DB\H2\ISP
DB\etc.

Hello Robert,

First, may I kindly ask to create new topics for new requests, not post to unrelated topics.
Second, about search. I think you might be using the program in a not optimal way.
If you need to search through all the notebooks, it would be better to use sections (tabs) within one large notebook.
All tabs can be selected for search using Ctrl+Shift+Space. This way you'll be able to search through all the notes.
Hope this helps!
Alex
