Postby Muralidar » Fri Jun 19, 2009 5:04 am

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your response for my previous post.Yesterday while i clipping notes suddenly cintanotes was closed and i am unable to open it again it is showing "IO stream error".I have run the cintnotes from my pen drive and size of notebook is 110Kb.Afterwards i have installed the cintanotes again in my pendrive and imported the notebook file then it is working fine. This is a wonderful software now i am able to remember the topics of my interest at any time.Keep doing well.

Hi Muralidar,

thanks for the report! Could you please tell me what exactly were your actions prior to the error? And I assume you are using BetaM9?

I've got the same problem if I want to organize untagged notes, changing name of tag. After closing of CintaNotes there is an error and I can't run software again. Tested on windows xp sp1, sp3, version Beta M10.5 run from usb stick.

Thanks for the report and sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately I still can't reproduce the problem. However I believe that the problem exists.
How exactly did CN crash? Was there any error message?
Can you come up with a 100% sure way to reproduce it? Would be really great!

I still cannot reproduce the error :(
Could you tell me step-by-step how to do it?

I hope that you were able to recover your notes from the backup?
