[Managing] Naming and Accessing Note Files

Postby just_bri » Tue Jun 15, 2010 3:14 am

Hello. :)

I want to THANK YOU for this wonderful program. I've dreamed of finding (or, worst-case scenario, trying to create) something exactly like this. Please keep up the good work!

That said, I do have a few suggestions. Here's my first one:

We should be able to name our notes (maybe with a "Save As" option?).

We should also have access to a "Recently Used Files" list. If I create notes (BriNotes.db), and my mom creates notes (MomNotes.db), we should be able to click File -> choose our file from the RUF list, instead of browsing for our file each time.

Double click on the note to edit it and you can change the title.....

As yet multiple databases are not fully supported. When they are, dependent on how they are managed, this feature may well be included.

While reading (& considering) this, it came to me that perhaps a simpler option would be to have CintaNotes explode its notes (better yet, a selected subset) into individual plain text files (optimally in a pre-defined path location). Can't remember if this has been suggested before...
