Hello
Not quite sure whether this is a bug but I remember it was different in the beta:
When I select to see only 'Untagged' notes, then pick one and give it a tag, the filter jumps back to show 'All' notes again instead of staying in 'Untagged'.
IIRC, the beta versions would keep the selected filter which was very handy when going through all the untagged items to attribute tags to them.
This is with CintaNotes 1.2 on WinXP SP3.
Cheers,
Michael

Doesn't happen here with CN 1.2P5 (which is now the stable version).

Re: Tag selection resets after tagging a note
I confirm this behavior on CN 1.2.
This was intended as a feature.
The point here is the following: when you close the editor window, CN makes sure that the focus is on the note you just edited for you not to lose track. If current view is "Untagged" and you've added some tags, there's no other option to see the note but to switch to the "All" View.
You can avoid this problem via tagging using the "Tag..." context menu command (or pressing F4).

Hi Alex
Thanks a lot for the explanation. It does make sense and the suggested alternative (hitting F4) is actually very handy.
Kind regards,
Michael
