Just a guess, but that is probably because the maximum resolution for icons is something like 128 pixels instead of the 36 or 48 common in Windows XP or 64 for Vista...

Your 256*256 format is up scaled from small icon format, rather than making a bigger one. So it won't make much diff. But, still thx for that.
I'll try to make one when I have free time.

Yep. For win7/vista, 256*256(png compressed) is the biggest format, and for xp, 48*48, though 64*64 and maybe 128*128 are supported via hack.
Snowleopard supports up to 512*512. I can hardly image anyone using such size of icon at laptop screen, though.

. I'll get small size ones tidy plus...maybe some edge and color adjustment. It's strange that it looks lean(t), because I drew the shape according to the official one. In fact, I made the official one at the bottom layer and drew anchor points upon it.
But this will probably happen after my trip to Tibet, which is on sunday. I'll see if I have time to do it tomorrow.

Hi guys,
thanks for the suggestion and all the icons. I've already contacted a professional designer and a new set of quality all-size icons is on the way and will probably be included in the upcoming new version.
