[UI] Notes displayed in matrix layout

Postby cintalover » Thu Apr 14, 2011 1:05 am

The awesomeness of CintaNotes can be multiplied with an ability to display notes in a grid/matrix, given sufficient space (say, when maximised to full screen).

In other words, in columns and rows, as opposed to the single column only layout.

That way, I could see many more notes on the screen at once if I am inclined to seek a broad overview (obviously at other times it is better to seek a narrow perspective).

Another idea: is it essential to invoke a popup window to edit a note? When a note is clicked for editing, why not have it selfishly maximise in the list display, only to return to how things were once editing is done?

Big thanks!!

Hello, thanks for the suggestions. The first one has been suggested but it did not get much approval among users until now, maybe because of the synthetic explanation on UserEcho: Grid View.

The second idea, was usually referred before to in-place editing and has an active discussion with many positive votes: In-place note editing.
