[Managing] Un-merging notes

What if you have taken a few hundred notes with this thing and then decided that you want to separate your notes into databases -- classify your notes into categories such as Personal, Private, Business, Research Paper?

The category option makes for the possibility of dividing a database into more than one comprehensive database. But you get the idea. I realize that this feature may already be there, what with multiple file names being possible.

The simplest option for taking home your own database at that point may be to copy the existing database, rename it, and then delete the files that you don't really need. And then bamm -- you have a portable database. However, only the Categories or similar option can make that opportunity possible.

The request were to add a classification option for notes in order to add a form of security to the program where some notes may be blocked from prying eyes.

With the commercial license you have the option to use multiple databases and easily switch between them by design. You can also use import/export to copy/move notes between databases. Tags can be used to group notes, such as private, business, etc..

I concur with Thomas on this.
Also the upcoming "Tabbed notebook sections" feature seems to be a perfect match for this.
