Please consider to add feature of docking main window at the edge of screen. It would be more comfortable to check out notes when you are using mouse.

check out similar software NotesHolder.

The note taking arena is getting crowded; check Quotepad too... (version 2.0.2 is the first release):

http://quotepad.info/

EDIT: in fact, appart from NotesHolder being commercial and Quotepad freeware, they both look the same... :o

I try both of Quotepad and NotesHolder. Quotepad is the exactly the same with free version of NotesHolder. Who copy who?

Thanks for the suggestion.
Added to roadmap, #178. Actually I think it will really become useful only when text drag-and-drop gets implemented.

Yes, I know about NotesHolder, and also its author, who happens to be a fellow russian developer ;)
Actually CintaNotes was partially inspired by NotesHolder, there was a time when I was considering using it myself but was not completely satisfied with it.

Lately he visited a forum thread about CintaNotes on RSDN.ru (Russian Software Developer Network), and told me that he liked the idea of hotkey text clipping and would implement it in NotesHolder as well.

I really welcome healthy competition since it will help me stay motivated and keep in shape ;)

I also believe that our products have a bit different niche, with NotesHolder being more for casual notetaking and CintaNotes being more project-and-research oriented, but time will tell.

I believe no one copied no one, probably it's just the author of NotesHolder trying to get some extra attention with a "brand new" program. But most likely is that the further development of NotesHolder and QuotePad will follow different paths.
