Edit window creeps to the right when taskbar is on left

Each time I double-click on a note to open its Edit window, I notice that the position of the window has moved to the right compared to the last time.

My Windows taskbar is docked to the left side of my screen. Each time the Edit window moves to the right, it's moving the same amount as the size of my taskbar.

If I move the taskbar to the bottom edge of the screen, then the Edit window in CintaNotes appears in the same place each time.
