Allow CN to reject empty notes

Postby ErikJon » Fri Apr 11, 2014 3:03 pm

.
Oftentimes I create a new note by mistake, or else, change my mind, half-way through. Although I like the feature of saving all notes automatically upon closing the program, I have no use for empty notes, and do not wish for them to be saved. Why not allow CN to reject any such empty note automatically, according to the user preferences?
.
P.S. I am using CintaNotes 3.01

Hi ErikJon,

when i create and ESC a note immediately, the note will not be saved. Please specify what you mean by "empty notes". In other cases, when i use CN for temporary text, i will delete and close the note simply be pressing Ctrl+Delete.

Thank you, Thomas. I was not aware of those keyboard shortcuts.

By "empty note" I mean any note that has no title nor text. It gets saved as a mere empty bar among a long list of real notes, and seems to serve no purpose.

Consequently, I think that any note that is created and then abandoned, should immediately be deleted without any user interaction, or at least, according to user preferences.
