Create a ToDo section

Postby MisterB » Thu Apr 09, 2015 11:45 pm

Yep, I realize you can already do this in a sort of free-form way (using the ToDo tag as shown in your features/FAQ/help); but by adding specific support for Due-date (much like the date support already there) and Priority (just a special tag with a list of values--sort of hierarchical, sort of not), plus being able to sort a specialized ToDo section separately from the way other sections are sorted (by Priority usually, but often by Due-date), you'd have something more like the typical to do list (and I don't think it would impact the simple-as-can-be approach that CintaNotes already uses).

Again, this comes back to having a somewhat specialized sectional attribute set (not limited to only one, could be multiple ToDo sections). It's still only a concept to me; I haven't organized a section yet with this in mind to get a feel for how well (or not) it works, but I think it could work quite well.

Just something more for you to think about (and for others to vote on).

Thanks.
