Nov 19, 2015 - Version 3.1 Beta 1
Features:
  • Notes list: display remarks preview
  • Options/Notes list: add configuring of remarks preview display
Enhancements:
  • Notebook encryption: add "Lock when PC is locked" option
  • Editor: improve handling of local cintanotes:// links
Now such links are handled by CintaNotes itself, without using the system protocol handler.
Fixes:
  • Clipping of numbered lists removes first number
  • Ad-hoc "Timer N not in the registry" error
  • Simplenote sync: crash when chosing "Use system proxy" when in fact system is not configured to use a proxy

Installable: CintaNotes_3_1_Beta1_Setup.exe
Portable: CintaNotes_3_1_Beta1.zip

Hi Alex,

i did test the remarks preview. Nice, however, word wrap should be supported to avoid text escaping the window and not being displayed. Also i don't understand how the "remark lines to display" (default 5) is used. For one case three lines are shown, where the editor displays five lines.

Thanks for taking a look. Indeed, there are problems with word wrapping. Will fix this. The "remark lines" option specified the maximum number of lines which can appear. I'll re-check line counting logic as well.

It might just be an effect of the word wrapping thing you have already mentioned, but here, I only ever see one line of remarks, even though that is set to 5.

Yes, this is the problem. The effect of this setting is now visible only when remarks have some explicit carriage returns.
All this will be fixed in Beta 2.
