Hello,
All of a sudden, I see the Error - class db::DatabaseException SQLite error 11: database disk image is malformed, when I tried to perform a search. I type in the first letter 'r' for remote and immediately received the error message.
I am using CintaNotes 3.1.1 and I have a PRO license.
System OS: Win 7 Pro
The window with focus is the main screen. Now, after I completely close CintaNotes and open it up, I see a message that says 'Cannot load notebook because the following path is inaccessible: C:\Users\relkins\Documents\CintaNotes\databasename.db. I am assuming I am seeing this because the db is corrupt or otherwise inaccessible.
I am able to use another database with no problem. If I select the 'problem' db, I get in a loop where I keep seeing the Error window telling me the database image is malformed.
How can I recover my db?

It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

Hello ablatem,
Sorry to hear about the problem!
Unfortunately this corruption do happen from time to time, there are numerous valid reasons for this, listed here.
We still don't have any evidence that this is a bug in CN.
As Thomas and Ovg have already provided the necessary links (thanks guys btw!), please post here if you were able to follow the instructions and rebuild the database file.
Thanks!

Re: SQLite error 11: database disk image is malformed
Hello Thomas,
My issue was resolved by using Option 1 from 'Recreate your data after SQLite mal function'.
The import into a new db was smooth and I can now see my data again!
I use CintaNotes all the time so I am glad to have it back!
Thanks for all the replies - it is appreciated.

Could you repost the link to 'Recreate your data after SQLite mal function' ? This http://cintanotes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=156&sid=ca4f2b6ec619ec7f3dd7d0a29892e1fc#p7331 does not bring to the right info. Thanks
