I posted a comment yesterday on the Outliner Software forum about CintaNotes' handling of attachments:

https://www.outlinersoftware.com/topics ... ttachments

The gist of it was that I had created a test notebook with nearly two thousand attachments, and I saw no reduced performance.

Hi Bill,

Sorry for long absense here! For some reason I didn't get any notifications about messages on the forum.

That's really cool. Thank you for posting about CN!

One note though.. about your experiment.
Please note that CintaNotes doesn't store duplicate attachments. It means that after your made 1000+ copies of the note, there still was only one PDF document in the db and all notes just referred to it. (Of course it would only be deleted once you delete all notes that have it).
This work even that the attachments have different names. CN store file content separately and compares it by calculating the hash.

Thanks, Alex. I wondered if that might be the case. If I can find the time in the near future, I'll try to do a similar experiment again, but with different attachments.
