Hi to all members!!
Can I run Cinta Notes when it is installed both on my PC WXP and my flash drive USB.
Because I noticed that it is not possible to import some files except text files.
For example I tried to import an image of all my files existing on my PC CNotes application to my Flash Drive Cinta Notes application and it was not possible.
Thanks a lot.
Andre

Re: How to run Cinta Notes
Hello Andre,
normally it should be possible to import notes via running CN from your flash drive (make sure the other instance is not running), choosing File/Import command, navigating to the other CN's folder and selecting the notebook.dat file.
Alternatively you can first export your notes to XML using the File/Export command and then import them from XML.
If this doesn't work for you then it's probably a bug, please describe what happens in detail so that I can reproduce the problem.
Thanks!

Re: How to run Cinta Notes
Andre, I really need the exact description of the steps necessary to reproduce the problem.
Like this:
"1) Start CN from USB drive
2) Open Firefox 3.6 and navigate to cintanotes.com
3) Select any text there
4) Hit Ctrl+F12 (clipping hotkey)
5) BUG - Nothing happens!"
Thanks in advance!

Re: How to run Cinta Notes
Have applied your suggestions , selected the text , hit Ctrl+F12
and the clipping was properly added on my flash drive CintaNotes.
Now need to find out how to export to XML, using the File/Export.
As I don't know what is the meaning of XML.
Thanks.

Re: How to run Cinta Notes
I guess you can treat XML as an interchange file format that can be used by CN to transfer notes from one application instance to another.
So you need to
1) Export all your PC notes: start PC version of CN, File/Export, XML, pick some file name say mynotes.xml.
2) Close CN, run CN from flash drive, File/Import, XML, navigate and select mynotes.xml. Done.

Tried to but from My documents under xml (type of file) failed to pick any file
as they are not opening.(From my CN PC... File> Export > All (Control +F11)
Unless I am not applying the appropriate steps.
