Undo with Alt+BkSp in Editor Title is broken

Postby Thomas Lohrum » Mon Nov 17, 2014 3:41 pm

Alt+BkSp will function as a simple Backspace instead of undoing the last change.

Hi Thomas,

but why should it work? Ctrl+Z is the key for undo, not Alt+BkSp.

Hi Alex,

i re-installed different versions back to 1.6. You are correct. Probably i got confused about a bug we had with Ctrl+Backspace not working in the title field. Still, Alt+Backspace is common in many editors - even in CN ;) (note's text). Why not support it in the title/tags field too? No matter what, pressing Alt+Backspace and getting a simple Backspace is not correct behaviour to me. Also Ctrl+Z is not working for me, after deleting a word with Ctrl+BackSpace.

These are standard single-line edit boxes and this is their standard behavior..
But I'll see what I could do. Re-implementing undo function in the edit box just to fix this issue (not the first time we have to fix Microsoft bugs) is however out of the question, I'm afraid :)
