Hi Alex,
using my settings there is a problem when deleting notes in the notes list. I select some notes by selecting a tag. Then i delete all of them. Next pressing Ctrl+F has no effect. I need to restart CintaNotes. If instead i switch from "all sections" to a specific section i can see that tag for which the notes got deleted. Seems like this is still selected, but can not be reset.

Re: reset after deleting notes
Hmm, when I delete all notes for the selected tag, the tag selection gets automatically reset to "All".
Doesn't it happen in your case?

Re: reset after deleting notes
Maybe it depends on my settings. I've just send my latest settings to you.
It is easy to reproduce:
select 'All'
create a note with a tag 'Test'
save the note
select tag "Test"
one note should be visible now
delete it
the notes list is empty now
press Ctrl+F
bug: nothing happens, no reset

There's no reset because there's nothing to reset: the reset already happened before, when you deleted the only note that had the "Test" tag.
Or don't you get "All" selected automatically after deleting the note?

Can't you reproduce? The problem is that instead of a notes list, there is only an empty area with no notes.

Re: reset after deleting notes
I see what you mean now.
Yes, this is definitely a bug.
The automatic reset to "All" doesn't update the notes list, but it should.
An even better solution IMO would be not to touch the tag selection and allow
it to have 0 notes at least till you select something else, after that the tag will
disappear from the list unless you have "no tag filter" mode.

Re: reset after deleting notes
I agree. Probably this makes sense. However, the bug is, that pressing Ctrl+F has no effect! It should, since i am explicitly asking CN to reset.

Re: reset after deleting notes
It's connected. CN thinks that there's nothing to reset.
If after delete there's no automatic reset, Ctrl+F will reset because of your setting (reset.onctrlf).

Re: reset after deleting notes
Yes, sure. I'll make that deletion won't cause auto reset and Ctrl+F will work.
