Re: Settings folder is empty
Hi,
is it cintanotes.settings or install.settings? For the latter it's normal.

install.settings - This file is used only once - to tell CintaNotes which language has been selected when the installer was run.
But since it has to be in the Program Files folder, it cannot be deleted by CintaNotes (the folder is not writable).

I tried un-install/re-install to get the cintanotes one back but it doesn't show up anywhere.

This is going to make your (and my weekend!).
I removed 1.4.2, installed previous .1 got the cintanotes file back but no install one.
And... the data inside is identical to install one.

Yes, you are right, in 1.4.1 this file was called cintanotes.settings and since this lead to confusion I decided to rename it)

Okay.
Do you have the codes that go with it?
There's really nothing in there except for what i posted previously.

Re: Settings folder is empty
Maybe it's clear but I would like to remind that the settings file is now stored in a per-user location, into the %AppData% folder (the "%" signs means that %AppData% is a variable, that once typed into Windows Explorer will expand to the actual location).
