Got it.
Another issue seems to come up...
The computer doesn't always want to wake-up from sleep mode.
I'm going to sacrifice CN for another day to double check that.
tremendous CPU usage !

Re: tremendous CPU usage !
After a whole day and night, wake-up from standby mode (at least half a dozen times) works just fine without CN.

Have 2.4 running since yesterday and have no issues.
Glad to be able to download previous version from CN's site.

Re: tremendous CPU usage !
I wonder what could have caused this problem. Staying with CN2.4 is not a long-term solution, we still have to find and fix the issue..
Have you tried temporarily switching off SN sync?

Yes i did.
Perhaps i'm just the oddball.
Windows 7 32bit is starting to get old by today's standards.
But i'm not switching to Windows 8 (yuck!)

Re: tremendous CPU usage !
I have Windows 7 too
We need to make sure that it is indeed CN that is the culprit, otherwise we can spend a lot of time chasing wild geese.
One of the most important Debugging Rules: "Make it fail".
(By the way, this is from a book called Debugging: The 9 Indispensable Rules for Finding Even the Most Elusive Software and Hardware Problems. Can't recommend this book enough, a very easy and enjoyable read for the least bit technically inclined, with lots of wisdom and absolutely hilarious war stories).
That's why I have to ask you if you could switch back to 2.5 for a while and see how it goes with waking up from standby?
Sorry for the inconveniece, but all in the name of science
(It'd be better to use the latest build from here:

Huge thanks in advance!

Re: tremendous CPU usage !
Okay, well - it's been up and running now for a few hours and shows no problems.
Other than MalwareBytes and TuneUp Utilities, have also loaded and previously ran CCleaner - just in case!
This is portable version right?
The final test will be when i open computer in the morning from standby mode.

Re: tremendous CPU usage !
Great relief to hear that, Daniel, thanks a lot for your eagerness to help!
The installable version is coming soon.
But you can just replace the .exe - the installable version doesn't have any functional differences, it's just the packaging.

Re: tremendous CPU usage !
It was my pleasure to help resolve the issue thus perhaps making one less frustration for someone else.
Looking forward to next version.
