Hi
thank you very much for this productivity tool - it is really one for the hunter and gatherer!
I see - the development is in the bug fix and new features stage - so my suggestions regarding the user interface may be premature
For my working flow it would be nice if the Clipping Hot Key would open the NEW NOTE window if there isn't anything to clip
For me the main and the new note window should be independent - I have the main window aligned to the right side of the screen with the smallest possible width - using the tray icon menu item "New Note" the window pops up centered to the main window so that part of it is off-screen
For me the NEW NOTE window should pop up center screen - I want to input some info, so center screen is a good place for the window
For me it isn't very nice that with minimized application both windows (MAIN and NEW NOTE) pop up after using the NEW NOTE tray icon menu item
Thanks again for all your efforts
Thanks
XandY

Re: interface tweaks
Hi XandY,
thank you very much for your input!
>For my working flow it would be nice if the Clipping Hot Key would open the NEW NOTE window if there isn't anything to clip
It will do so in the next version. But it will still be better to use another hot key altogether since determining that "there isn't anything to clip" takes itself 1-2sec time and produces an irritating delay.
>For me the main and the new note window should be independent - I have the main window aligned to the right side of >the screen with the smallest possible width - using the tray icon menu item "New Note" the window pops up centered to >the main window so that part of it is off-screen
Sounds logical to me. But will be a bit tricky to implement.
>For me the NEW NOTE window should pop up center screen - I want to input some info, so center screen is a good place >for the window
Well, in the next version the note edit window will remember its position.
>For me it isn't very nice that with minimized application both windows (MAIN and NEW NOTE) pop up after using the NEW >NOTE tray icon menu item
I'll consider changing that, but it would possibly mean that both windows will show up on taskbar - are you ready for that?
Regards,
